Mrs. Nelka Perera - Toddy Producer ( Chilaw )
Initially she has got the Economic Literacy Training and Entrepreneur Development Training from Agromart Foundation. After that she has obtained a loan of Rs. 15,000 from Agro Micro Finance in 2004 and carried the project successfully. Then she has taken the second and third loans in 2005 and 2006 amounting to Rs.30,000 and Rs. 50,000 respectively from Agro Micro Finance to enhance her business. With the technological knowledge and managerial skills Nelka has become very successful in her business. By expressing her ideas about Agro Micro Finance, Nelka said that it is the leading institution that grants business knowledge and assistance for creating entrepreneurs and probably it may be the heart of economic development in the rural sector.
